Common Menu Bar Options

The menu bar provides access to a variety of general and function-specific tasks. Several menus such as File, Edit, and Help appear on most function windows. You can also see Window when you open multiple function windows.

Tip. Although the shortcut keys in the menu bar show the uppercase letters for alphabet characters, you do not have to hold the [Shift] key or press [Caps Lock]. For example, to open the About DPX window, hold [Ctrl] and press [Z].

You can use the keyboard to navigate through menus. Hold the [Alt] key then press the underlined letter for the menu you want to select from, and then use the arrow keys to move to the desired menu item. Press the [Enter] key to select the menu item.
