Additional Information about iSCSI Initiators

Agentless VMware Backup restore operations require an iSCSI initiator on the VMware ESXi server hosting the restored VM. Software and hardware initiators are supported.

The iSCSI initiator must meet the following conditions:

• It must be properly configured on a network that can communicate with the master server and the storage systems.

• It must be online and enabled on the VMware ESX server.
