Verification and the Job Monitor

Whether invoked automatically or on demand, the verification tasks appear in the job monitor as they occur.

On the job monitor, verification jobs are displayed as job type VERIFY. In the verification job name, the prefix sdv indicates a scheduled “deferred verification job and odv indicates an “on demand” verification job. Along with the verification job name, the actual backup job name is displayed in parentheses. For example, sdv1215806661 (Exch_p) represents a scheduled verification job where sdv1215806661 is the verification job name and Exch_p is the backup job name.

To delete a failed verification job, use Delete Restore Job on the task panel.
