Stopping or Starting the CMAgent Service on UNIX or Linux

You will have to stop or start CMAgent in some occasions, such as when you are updating a license key. CMAgent for UNIX or Linux is managed with the system service: cmagent. Log in to the shell of the UNIX or Linux system for the Catalogic DPX master servers or clients, and use the sscmagent script and the root privilege.

To stop the cmagent service on UNIX or Linux, run

sudo <product-directory>/misc/sscmagent stop

To start the cmagent service on UNIX or Linux, run

sudo <product-directory>/misc/sscmagent start
