Prerequisites for backing up the Microsoft Hyper-V assets

Ensure that any storage being used has been added to vStor and has sufficient space available.

A vStor server must exist and be configured on the Catalogic DPX Master Server appliance as part of the Enterprise.

A vStor server must have a volume and associated share created prior to running a Backup job. The share must either have a host added or All hosts selected.

Virtual Hard Disks v2 (VHDX) shared disks are not available for backup; only non-shared disks can be protected by DPX backup jobs.
