Copy Definition: Overview

To copy disk files, create a Copy definition. A Copy definition is a set of parameters that define key elements of a copy operation such as the following:

• The files to copy (source files).

• The disk, folder, or directory to copy the source files to.

Note. An NDMP node cannot be selected as source or destination for a Copy job.

• Specifying Source Data to Copy

• Defining Copy Options

• Specifying a Destination for the Data being Copied

• Specifying File Exclusion Rules for a Copy Job

• Specifying a Schedule for the Copy Job
