Microsoft Exchange Server provides availability and replication within a DAG. However, as with any replication, corrupted transactions will be replicated and affect subsequent database copies. Catalogic DPX Block Data Protection overcomes this limitation and provides robust database protection by creating scheduled backup snapshot images of the Exchange database. The result is multiple point-in-time snapshots from which you can select a suitable clean recovery point.
Catalogic DPX Block Data Protection supports restore of database and log files to the following restore destinations:
Original location
New name or location
Exchange recovery database
Recovery server
Non-Exchange location
