Chapter 54: SAP Interface

The DPX SAP interface (Backint) allows you to seamlessly integrate DPX with the SAP utilities Brbackup, Brrestore, and Brarchive. The transparent use of DPX with these standard SAP utilities lets you maintain existing backup strategies while benefiting from the superior performance, comprehensive device management, and centralized Enterprise control of DPX.

Note. The DPX SAP interface supports SAP with an Oracle database. DPX supports SAP with other database management systems through their interfaces.
