Manage Tapes consists of The Migrate Function. The purpose of this DPX function in is to copy data from one media volume to another media volume. The Migrate function allows the source media and the destination media to be of dissimilar types. The Migrate function is especially beneficial for virtual tape library to physical tape migration, and for migrating Backup to DiskDirectory jobs to tape.
