You need to know the following information before installing the interface.
The host name of the master server.
Your system administrator username.
Your system administrator password.
The name of the node where you are installing the interface. This is the name that DPX uses for the node. This is usually, though not always, the same as the node’s host name on the network.
The name of the media pool you intend to use.
The name of the device cluster you intend to use.
The name of the tape device you intend to use (optional).
