Chapter 3: Java-based DPX Management Interface

In addition to the HTML5-based DPX Management Interface, you can use the Java-based DPX Management Interface, which is a desktop application with graphical interfaces. Some features are not available in the HTML5-based DPX Management Interface but they are present in the Java-based DPX Management Interface, and vice versa. You can run the Java-based DPX Management Interface and log in to the Catalogic DPX Master Server from your workstation by using the Java Web Start technology. Or, you can launch the Java-based DPX Management Interface from the systems that have the Catalogic DPX Master Server or the Catalogic DPX Client.
