Elements of the Catalog Restore Window

  • Source Pane

    The source pane displays in a hierarchical structure the location of your backed up Catalog. Use this pane to specify the media volser of the backed up Catalog and the device to use for the restore.

  • Destination Pane

    The destination pane specifies the hierarchical structure of the destination for the Catalog restore.

  • Catalog Restore Menus

    In addition to the common menu options, the Catalog Restore window also contains the Catalog menu. See Common Menu Options.

    To access an item in the Catalog Restore menu, do one of the following:

    • On the menu bar, select Catalog. Then select the desired item.

    • Use the keyboard shortcut [Alt+T], use the up-arrow and down-arrow keys to select the desired menu item, then press [Enter].

  • Catalog Restore Buttons

    The Catalog Restore task panel buttons are described in the topics that follow.

  • Catalog Restore Context Menus

    In addition to the menu bar options and task panel buttons, the Catalog restore window also contains function context menus. The function context menus vary based on the state of media and devices.

    To access an item in a function context menu:

    • Right-click the Enterprise name or globe icon, restore volumes name or icon, or device clusters name or icon. Then select the desired item.
