Running the Verification Job

You can run the verification inline (automatically as part of the backup job), deferred (automatically after the backup job completes), or on demand (initiating on the Restore screen).

To initiate on demand verification:

  1. Click the Restore tab then click Block.

  2. Browse to the backed up node. Drill down to the Exchange application and drill down to the backup instance.

  3. Right-click the backup instance. Select Verify from the context menu. Informational messages appear as the verification job is being created.

  4. The final informational message will prompt to run the job. Click Run or Run and Monitor in the dialog box.
