Selecting Block Source Data to Restore

Take the following steps to select the Block Source data that you want to restore:

  1. In the management console, launch the Block Restore window. Select the Restore tab on the Function Tab Bar, then click Block.

  2. Click Define New Restore Job. Previously opened or defined jobs are cleared.

Tip. If this job definition is similar to a job you already saved, then you can edit the existing job and save it as a new job.

  1. On the restore source tree, drill down and select the resources to restore. In most cases, you can select to restore data to file-level granularity.

Note. For Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 DFS replication folders, select the replicated folder under the DfsrReplicatedFolders container. See Microsoft Windows Server Distributed File System (DFS).
