Holding Scheduled Jobs in the Java-based DPX Management Interface

In the Java-based DPX Management Interface, take the following steps to hold a job:
Right-click a job name or icon to select the job and display a context menu. Then select Hold.
From the menu bar, select Scheduler > Hold Future Job.
On the task panel, click Hold Future Job to open the Hold Future Job dialog.
Select the Job Type of the job you want to hold. The selections in the Job Name pull-down list vary to match the job type. Select the job you want to hold by name, then click OK. In some cases, you will have to enter additional specifications in the other dialog.
Click OK to hold the job.
Note. If you supplied additional specifications (see Note in previous step), only the job instances with those additional specifications are placed on hold.
If the job is scheduled to run today, the job appears in the Monitor Jobs window or the current day display of the Review Jobs window with Held status.
The following are the general steps for holding a future scheduled job:
Define a job.
Schedule the job.
Place the job on hold.
Schedule that job for a week from today.
Open the Review Jobs window and view jobs for a week from today. See .
Find the “on hold” job through the Release Held Future Job function.
Release the job. You will now be able to see that job in the Review Jobs window after selecting the date (a week from today) and clicking Apply.
