Meet the Requirements for an Alternate Secondary System

The following are requirements for an alternate secondary system:

  • The storage system must be configured as a SnapVault secondary, running the version of Data ONTAP specified in .

  • The volume structure on the alternate secondary must be a mirror image of the original the Catalogic DPX Block Data Protection destination secondary. That is, mirroring is done at the volume level.
