Pre-configuring Open Systems
Primary SnapVault nodes using NetApp OSSV must be set up and defined before being configured for Catalogic DPX.
To pre-configure an Open Systems node as a NetApp SnapVault primary:
Install the NetApp OSSV agent on the desired nodes. The NetApp OSSV agent should not be installed on nodes running the agent.

Use the default port setting. Port 10000 is the standard port used for communicating with a NetApp OSSV node.
