Elements of the Catalog Backup Window

• Source Pane

  The source pane displays the Catalog for your Enterprise. There is only one Catalog for any Enterprise.

• Destination Pane

  The destination pane displays the hierarchical structure of the destination for the Catalog backup. Use this pane to specify the tape pool and device to back up to.

• Catalog Backup Context Menu

  In addition to the menu bar options and task panel buttons, the Catalog Backup window also contains a function context menu. To access an item in a function context menu:

  • Right-click the Enterprise name or globe icon. Then select the desired item.

  The various function context menu items are described in the topics that follow.

• Catalog Backup Menus

  In addition to the common menu options, the Catalog Backup window also contains the Catalog Backup menu. See Common Menu Bar Options. To access an item in the Catalog Backup menu, do one of the following:

  • From the menu bar, select Backup. Then select the desired item.

  • Use the keyboard shortcut [Alt+B], use the up-arrow and down-arrow keys to select the desired menu item, then press [Enter].
