Backing Up NetApp SnapVault Management Backups

You can perform an ordinary NDMP backup from the secondary to removable media such as tape by choosing DUMP or SMTape (SnapMirror-to-tape). Thus, by using the NDMP backup selection, the NetApp SnapVault Management backup files can be backed up for additional data protection or long term retention needs.
