Permissions for DPX Exchange Mailbox Recovery
EMBR permissions depend on the features used and might be specific to the Exchange version. Review the EMBR sections of the Reference Guide for details. The following is a condensed summary of known permission needs:
Outlook 2000 or later installed on a workstation running under an account which has access to the desired data is required. A Domain Administrator account, with access to administer and manipulate Active Directory and Exchange is recommended.
To create Exchange mailboxes, you must have the necessary Active Directory permissions on the selected Exchange Server.
In Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007/2010, Full Mailbox Access must be set to "Allow" to copy to a mailbox other than the one you logged into. Full Mailbox Access is the permission that controls whether or not any mailbox can be copied to.
In Exchange Server 5.5, the account you are logged into requires Exchange Service Account Administrator rights or role. Copy this role to your account to restore messages to any mailbox.
For public folders, folder permissions may not transfer if the source Exchange server is different from the target Exchange server.
