Note the following considerations:
DPX Block Data Protection for SharePoint is not supported for client nodes running Windows Server 2012 with ReFS enabled. See Microsoft ReFS Support.
Patching SharePoint 2010 may be a two-step process. First, install updated patch binaries and second, manually run psconfig.exe. See your SharePoint documentation.
Item-level restore from SQL Server 2008 R2 content databases is only available with SPOR version 6.1 and later.
You might need to install the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components for SQL Server package, which is one of the components of the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Feature Pack, August 2008 installation package collection, and is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center website. The Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Feature Pack, August 2008 installation package collection contains many different items, but you will only need to install the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components for SQL Server package.
SPOR does not support object recovery for SQL Server 2000. If you are using SQL Server 2000 as a SharePoint repository, it is recommended to upgrade SQL Server to the latest version recommended by Microsoft for your release of SharePoint.
