Removing and Inserting Tapes

DPX simplifies adding and removing tapes with an ACS. When you add tapes to an ACS or remove tapes from an ACS, you do not need to tell DPX. When you go to the Operate Tape Library window, DPX automatically examines the contents of an ACS and determines which tapes have been added or removed. See Chapter 24: Device Control.
