Notification of Software Updates

An administrator with access to the Software Update System can choose to receive weekly email notices of software updates.

The notification process performs the node scanning step of the Software Update process and sends an email to the system administrator or other recipients the results of that step, that is, whether software updates are available or not.

To enable notification, populate the relevant fields in the Advanced section of the Autoupdate Authentication dialog while running the Software Update System procedure. See Installing Catalogic DPX Software Update Packages.
