Uninstalling the Catalogic DPX GuardMode Agent

You can uninstall the Catalogic DPX GuardMode agent by taking the following steps:

  1. In the Microsoft Windows system, open the Start menu which is often represented by the Microsoft Windows icon in the taskbar.

  2. Search applications with Apps & features and open it.

  3. Find Ransomware Detection Agent in the list, click the application, click Uninstall, and follow the instructions.

  4. Open Task Manager, open the Services tab, and ensure that you do not see CatalogicGuardModeAgent in the list. If the service still exists, right-click it and click Stop.

  5. Delete the folder of the Catalogic DPX GuardMode agent and files in it. Typically, the folder is C:\Program Files\DPX\Catalogic GuardMode Agent\.

Go back to Task Manager and ensure that you do not see CatalogicGuardModeAgent in the list. After uninstalling the Catalogic DPX GuardMode agent, you can reinstall it.
