Chapter 8: Cloud Storage

You can archive Block data or Agentless VMware data and store these archive data in supported cloud storage: Amazon S3, generic cloud storage that is typically compatible with the Amazon S3 API, Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, and Alibaba Cloud. You can also store NDMP backups in the cloud storage.

Create a bucket on the cloud provider. Add the cloud provider as a Device Cluster and create an associated Media Pool. The media will automatically be managed. A backup job instance must exist and be backed up to Catalogic vStor before an archive job can be created based on the backup.
