Chapter 53: DB2 Interface

DPX offers the ability to back up and restore DB2 databases. DPX interfaces with DB2 UDB Enterprise Edition (EE) or DB2 UDB Enterprise-Extended Edition (EEE) to ensure the integrity of the DB2 databases during backup and restore.

DPX provides performance advantages, comprehensive device management, and centralized Enterprise control. To achieve these benefits for DB2, configure your environment specifically to interact with your Enterprise, then execute backups and restores just like any UDB EE or EEE backups or restores.
