Restarting Service/Agents

To restart service/agents, use the following procedures:

• On UNIX or Linux, use the following command to stop the agents: product-directory/misc/./sscmagent stop autoupdate and use the following command to start the agents: product-directory/misc/./sscmagent start

• On Windows, client and master agents are automatically started as Windows services. To stop/start the client and master agents on Windows, simply go to the Services Control Panel and perform stop/start operation on the Autoupdate Client Agent for the client agent on a client node and Autoupdate Master Agent for the master agent on the master server.
