Specifying a Schedule for the Backup Job

After you specify what you want to back up and where you want it backed up to, you need to specify when you want to back the data up. This is known as the backup schedule. The backup schedule is saved as part of the backup definition. Therefore, each backup you define has its own distinct schedule.

Tip. You can save a backup definition and manually run the backup job without defining a schedule.
