Updating the License Key Using the Linux Shell

If your license key expired, log in to the Linux shell of the Catalogic DPX Master Server with the root privilege:

  1. Stop the CMAgent service. See Managing the CMAgent Service for instructions.

  2. On the Master Server, go to the directory for Catalogic DPX. Typically, the directory is located in /opt/DPX/.

  3. Open the text file, .ssbe_key, with a text editor. Enter the new key in this text file and save it.

  4. Start the CMAgent service again.

Open either DPX Management Interface and ensure that the license key was updated.
