Deleting Virtual Machines After Instant Virtualization

Instant Virtualization creates a VM based on RDM disks. These disks are backed by data on LUNs created from snapshots, and the LUNs are iSCSI-mapped to the VMware ESX server that hosts the VM.
To clean up an unnecessary, temporary VM that was created by Instant Virtualization, delete the VM, remove the LUN map, and delete the LUNs to free up disk spaces.
