Job Functions: Managing Catalog Expiration Cycles
Use the Catalog Job Functions to maintain the Catalog on a job-by-job basis. Specifically, it enables you to:
Reduce the retention period of a job to free up its used resources faster or to extend the retention to archive that instance for a longer period of time.
Remove a job and all of its associated records (such as the location of backup files) from the Catalog.
Generate a report of all cataloged jobs.
To launch the Catalog Job Functions window, click the Catalog tab on the Function Tab Bar, then select Job Functions.
The Catalog Job Functions window opens in a new browser instance. The window opens as a single pane, which lists all jobs in the Catalog, and expands to a dual pane after you select a cataloged job.
