Uninstalling on Windows
There are two ways to uninstall DPX: through the Uninstall DPX function in the DPX program group or directly via the Windows command line.
To uninstall using Uninstall DPX function in the Catalogic DPX program group:
Select Uninstall from the Catalogic DPX program group on the Windows Start menu.
After the uninstall completes, you can check the uninstall log file,
uninstall.log, in%userprofile%.
To uninstall using Windows command line:
The following Windows command line utility can be used to uninstall DPX. This is especially useful for scripting uninstall operations across large number of nodes, or for nodes which do not have convenient GUI access such as Windows 2008 Core.
msiexec /i <product-code> /L*v c:\uninstall.log
Note. <product-code> can be found in the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Syncsort\BackupExpress\Installations\0)
