Deleting a Device Cluster
To delete a device cluster, first make sure it is empty; that is, there are no devices assigned to it.
Warning! Make sure the device cluster you delete is not specified in any backup definition. This is especially important for scheduled backups because absence of a device cluster specified in a backup definition causes the backup task to fail.
To delete an existing device cluster definition:
Click Configure on the Function Tab bar of the window, then click Devices.
Do one of the following:
Right-click the device cluster name or icon to display a context menu. The selection is indicated by the selection check box next to the device cluster icon and the Edit Device Cluster dialog appears in the right pane. Then select Delete.
In the left pane, select the device cluster you want to delete and do one of the following:
From the menu bar, select Device > Delete Device Cluster.
On the task panel, click Delete Device Cluster.
A dialog box prompts you to confirm the deletion.
Click Yes on the dialog box. The device cluster disappears from the left pane.
Note. If the device cluster still contains devices, a device cluster not empty warning message appears. To empty the device cluster, delete all devices assigned to it.
