Requirements/Considerations for Exchange Verification

• Any Exchange server or a server with the corresponding Microsoft Exchange tools can be selected as a verification node. It is recommended that the verification node not have a production Exchange database on it.

• The verification node is associated with the backup source node and must be specified in the Edit Node dialog box for the source node. See Setting Verification Options for Microsoft Exchange Server.

• The verification node and the backup source node must be running the same operating system and the same DPX release and software update level.
