Restoring DB2 Databases

DB2 database restores with DPX are done just like any UDB EE or EEE restore. As with a backup, a database administrator can restore the DB2 database by using either DB2 Control Center GUI or scripts.

Your DB2 restore will use the configuration file that is assigned to the environmental variable DB2_BEX_CFGFILE. If DB2_BEX_CFGFILE is not set, the default sbt11cfg.BEX will be used. For more information about the configuration file, see DB2 Job Control.
