Alternate Secondary as NetApp Restore Source
You can periodically mirror Block backups on a NetApp storage system to an alternate secondary, such as a different high-performance NetApp storage system. Then, if your initial storage system fails, use that alternate secondary as your restore source. This assures uninterrupted data protection. To do this, redirect your restore job definition to the new source and save it. See Instant Access Mapping to the NetApp Alternate Secondary.
