Filtering Displayed Jobs for a Restore Job

The default is to browse data from the date of the last base backup. You can also browse from the oldest backup in the Catalog, or you can browse from a specific date.

Restore of an NDS backup defaults to the latest backup.

For point-in-time restores of certain databases, see Chapter 43: Introduction to Interfaces.

To select a date, click it and click OK. When a cell is selected, the date will turn red. Then set the time of day on the From field.

  2. Select the To (latest point-in-time) criteria from the pull-down menu. The choices are:

    • Latest Backup

    • Select Include Offsite Media if you want to include offsite tapes in the source tree display.

    • Select Skip Incr/Difr backups before latest Difr backup if you want to skip incremental or differential backups earlier than the latest differential backup.
