Editing a Node
To check the status of a node or edit a node definition:
Open the Configure Enterprise window by selecting the Configure tab on the Function Tab bar, then clicking Enterprise.
Open the Edit Node dialog in the resouce pane by doing one of the following:
Right-click the node name or icon to display a context menu. Then select Edit. The selection check box indicates the selected node and the Edit Node dialog appears in the right pane.
Select the node you want to edit in the Configure Enterprise resource pane and do one of the following:
Select Enterprise > Edit Node from the menu bar.
On the task panel, click Edit Node.
Tip. If you select Enterprise > Edit Node from the menu bar or click the Edit Node button without a node selected, an alert dialog asking you to select a node appears.
Note. The bottom of the edit node dialog contains verification fields that are relevant only for DPX Block Data Protection clients. See Editing Verification and Cloning Fields for Block Backup Clients.
For basic TCP/IP nodes, NDMP nodes, and STORAGE_CTL nodes, the Edit Node dialog appears in the right pane.
For OES Linux nodes, the root password appears.
Revise fields as needed.
Select Apply. If you are unable to see the task menu, resize the resource pane.
