Quick Overview of Restore Functions
The following table contains a brief overview of the steps for restoring data:
Step | Description | Reference |

1. | Determine what data needs to be restored and from when. | |
2. | Determine which restore mode to use. | |
3. | Open the appropriate restore window. | |
4. | Change the point-in-time range if necessary. The default point-in-time range is from the Last Base Backup to the Latest Backup. The point-in-time range determines files displayed in the source tree for selection. | |

6. | Assign the Source Device Cluster. By default, selects the device cluster to which the backup was originally done. | |
7. | Assign the restore destination. By default, restores the data to the original location from which it was backed up. | |
8. | Revise source options, destination options, encryption options, and job notification options as needed. | |
9. | Optionally schedule a job to run as often as needed. | |
10. | Save the job. | |
11. | Run the job. |
