Introduction to Windows Clusters

DPX supports File and Block backups and restores of clusters for most supported releases of Windows.

DPX also supports SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint and Oracle in a Windows cluster.

Beginning with DPX 4.4.0, Block backup of Clustered Shared Volumes (CSV) is supported for Windows 2012 r2. See Clustered Shared Volumes.

For Windows, DPX is a cluster aware application, ensuring that data on a shared disk is not backed up twice (from two different nodes in a cluster). Windows users are urged to use the latest Windows Server service pack.
