Folder Level Setup

To enable folder level backup and restore of Exchange servers, you must execute one of the two setup procedures described below. Both setup procedures effect necessary changes to the Windows registry and communication agents.

You can choose either of the following two procedures:

Perform either procedure after your Enterprise has been defined and client software has been installed on the Exchange server node. You must have administrative privileges to execute either procedure.

Note. Exchange 2007 users who want to deploy folder level backup and restore must first install the following package on their Exchange servers: Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1.
