The Welcome page provides a general description of the wizard. The wizard guides you through the process of deleting VMs and VMDKs.
You can select only one VM at a time. To select additional VMs or to delete VMDKs on a different VM, repeat the wizard steps.
In addition to deleting a VM or VMDKs, the wizard cleans up LUN relationships, reclaims LUN space on secondary storage, and removes temporary FlexClone volumes.
Click Next.
The Select Virtual Machine page displays a source tree for selection of VMs. Expand the datacenter to display VMs. Click on a VM. Note that you can select only one VM. Click Next.
The Select VMDKs page allows you to delete either the entire VM or selected VMDKs:
To delete the entire VM selected on the previous page, click Next. To see the VMDKs first, wait for the VMDK Information list to populate before clicking Next.
To delete selected VMDKs, click the Select VMDKs to delete check box. When the VMDK Information list is populated, select the VMDKs to delete, then click Next.
The Confirm page displays the name of the VM selected for deletion. In the vCenter Authentication section, the VM host name displays. Enter a valid user name and password for the vCenter. Then click Authenticate. After a message indicates vCenter authentication is successful, click Delete to delete the VM or the VMDKs you selected.
