Running a Migrate Job
You can run the currently opened job immediately. (If the job is not open, open it.) You have the option to view the job monitor when the run is initiated.
Note. A Migrate definition must be saved as a job before it can be run.
To run a Migrate job immediately, without monitoring, do one of the following:
Right-click the Enterprise name or icon to display a context menu. Then select Run.
From the menu bar, select Manage Tapes – Migrate > Run.
On the task panel, click Run a Migrate Job.
The Migrate job begins.
To run a Migrate job immediately, with monitoring, do one of the following:
Right-click the Enterprise name or icon to display a context menu. Then select Run And Monitor.
From the menu bar, select Manage Tapes – Migrate > Run And Monitor.
On the task panel, click Run and Monitor a Migrate Job.
The Migrate job begins. The dedicated job monitor for the given Migrate job appears.
