Editing an Advanced Data Agent Port

Advanced Data Agent is supported for Windows platforms. This agent runs by default on TCP port 10000.

To edit an advanced data agent port:

  1. In the source pane, right-click node name or icon to display a context menu, then select Edit Advanced Data Agent Port. The Edit Advanced Data Agent Port dialog box appears.

  2. Change the port number.

  3. Click OK.

Note. The next time you edit this node, a prompt appears that reads, "Advanced Node feature newly detected. Please click Apply to save it." The Advanced Node feature of DPX is required to run Block backups and restores and other advanced operations. Click OK to close the prompt and then click Apply in the destination pane.
