Configuration

Your DPX is ready to use the moment you log in to it for the first time. However, there are two things worth configuring, namely your password (if you haven’t changed it already) and e-mail settings.

Restrictions. Currently, only insecure e-mail servers are supported, i.e. servers using SSL/TLS protocol cannot be used.

Web interface

Changing your password:

1. Click on the user name on the top menu bar and then click Change Password.

2. The new password must:

   • contain from 6 to 48 characters,

   • contain at least 1 number and 1 letter,

   • not contain username or keyword ‘admin’.

   After changing the password, you won’t need to log in again; you will be taken to the DPX dashboard.

Adding Administrator E-mail Settings:

1. Click the Settings ( ) button on the top menu bar. You will be taken to the Enterprise Information panel.
2. Select Administrator E-mail Settings and click Add.

Desktop interface

To change the password or edit Administrator E-mail settings:

1. Select Configure from the tab menu.

2. From the Configuration Operations menu on the left, click on Enterprise.

3. Select Edit Enterprise from the Enterprise Tasks menu below.

4. the Edit Enterprise menu will open on the right. There, you can change the password and edit Administrator E-mail Settings.

   Remember that the new password must:

   • contain from 6 to 48 characters,

   • contain at least 1 number and 1 letter,

   • not contain username or keyword ‘admin’.

5. Click Apply.
