The agent is not installing
There is a possibility that during the uninstallation process of previous GMA version not all directories and files were fully removed. In the first step please open Task Manager and verify if CatalogicGuardModeAgent service is on the services list. If it is and its status is different than "Stopped", please stop the service by right-clicking on it and clicking on the "Stop" button. Then, manually delete "Catalogic Guard Mode Agent" directory located in "DPX" directory. Finally, install GuardMode Agent again. Additionally, please make sure that C++ Redistributable library is installed on your machine and is up to date. Also, please be aware that your system and machine architecture must compatible with the listed system requirements.
The agent is installing but it is not visible in my DPX UI
Firstly, please uninstall GuardMode Agent. Next, make sure that both your VM and DPX master server are online and located in the same network. After that, install GuardMode Agent again. During installation make sure that the "Setup DPX Notification" checkbox is selected and the correct DPX master server credentials are provided in the "DPX Configuration" step.
The agent is installed and visible in my UI but errors appear on the Security tab
Please make sure that the VM with GuardMode Agent is powered on and online. If it is, please open the "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" desktop app on that VM. Click on the "Inbound Rules" and verify if the "Catalogic GuardMode Agent" rule with port 5000 is there and its status is "Enabled". If not, try to enable the rule; if so, please reinstall GuardMode Agent and provide correct DPX master server credentials.
The agent is not producing notifications
Please make sure that DPX master server and the VM with GMA is online and located in the same network. Open Task Manager and locate "CatalogicGuardModeAgent" service in "Services" tab. Verify if status of that service is "Running". If not, please turn it on by right-clicking on it and clicking "Start"; if it is, please locate the "Logs" directory in the "Catalogic Guard Mode Agent" directory. Once you are there, please open the latest log file and verify if a desired log appears in that file. If it does, please reinstall GuardMode Agent.
