Accessing Offloaded Data
Typically, the user does not need access to the offloaded data, since the most recent snapshots are always stored locally and only historical versions are offloaded. However, if such access is required, e.g. for regulatory reasons, the older, offloaded snapshots can also be accessed.
Since offloading physically removes data from the source vStor and transfers it to the target, accessing the offloaded data requires additional steps. Here is how to access the data from the source and from the target.
Accessing Offloaded Data from the Source vStor
Go to the Offload view on the source vStor and find the volume you want to access. Ensure its Last Sync Status is Completed.
Click the volume name to display the volume details.

Go to the Snapshots tab and find the offloaded snapshot you want to access. It will have the magenta offload icon next to it. Hover over the record or right-click and select Clone.

In the Clone Snapshot dialog window, specify the name for the clone, or leave default. Click Clone.
Wait until the cloning is completed. This may take a while, depending on the data size. The volume representing the cloned snapshot will be visible in the volumes list in an in progress state. You can also track the progress in the Tasks view. The task type is Cloning offloaded snapshot.

Click the volume name to display its details and go to the Snapshots tab.
Click Create snapshot. Specify the name for the snapshot and click Save.
Go to the created snapshot.

From this point on, follow the procedure specified in Mounting Disk Images to browse and retrieve your data.
Accessing Offloaded Data from the Target vStor
Go to the Offload view on the target vStor and find the volume you want to access. Ensure its Last Sync Status is Completed.
Click the volume name to display the volume details.

Go to the Snapshots tab and find the offloaded snapshot you want to access.

From this point on, follow the procedure specified in Mounting Disk Images to browse and retrieve your data.
