Logging to vStor Web Interface

vStor is managed from the web interface accessible from a browser.

To launch vStor web interface, do the following:

1. Open a web browser on a machine with access to the same network where the vStor has been deployed.
2. Type the vStor IP address into the browser’s address bar and press Enter.

3. In the log-in screen, enter the username and password for vStor.
   The default login credentials are:

login	password
admin	admin*

4. Click the Log in button. The vStor Dashboard will appear.
5. If multifactor authentication is set for the specified user, you will be prompted to provide the MFA verification code to log in.

6. Upon your first login, you will be prompted to change the password. Your new password must:

• contain from 6 to 48 characters,
• contain at least 1 number and 1 letter,
• not contain your username or the keyword admin.

After changing the password, you won’t need to log in again; you will be taken directly to the vStor dashboard.

Important.

* If you deployed vStor as part of Catalogic Backup Appliance, these default credentials and the first-login password change do not apply. The vStor credentials are tied to the operating system admin user and are set during the appliance installation. For details, see Accessing the Appliance.
