Agentless Backup for Proxmox VE

Catalogic DPX provides agentless data protection for Proxmox Virtual Environment (Proxmox VE). DPX protects the QEMU virtual machines running on a Proxmox VE cluster without installing any software inside the guests, reading virtual machine data through the Proxmox API and the Proxmox DPX Plugin on the Proxmox host. A single Proxmox VE node in DPX represents an entire Proxmox cluster.

You can use Catalogic DPX with the following Proxmox VE versions:

  • Proxmox VE 8.4 and later

Base backup is supported for all disk formats below. Incremental backup is supported as well, with the following per-format behavior:
