Advanced Filters

The Multi-VM Restore Add Virtual Machines view displays all VMware virtual machines in your Enterprise that have been backed up using DPX Agentless Backup jobs. To facilitate browsing and selection of VMs for restore, advanced filters have been implemented. These filters are cascading, but only one specific filter can be added per view column. Filters can be removed individually but they cannot be edited.

1. Click the + Add Filter button above the VM list to add a new advanced filter.

2. Select the table header name you want to filter by:

   • Job Name: filter by the name of the DPX backup job that has been used to back up VMs;

   • Source Node Name: filter by the name of the vCenter node where VMs were backed up from;

   • Virtual Machine Name: filter by the name of virtual machines.

3. Select the radio button of your choice and type the string you want to use in your filtering criteria. Click Apply.

Note. Filtering inputs are case-sensitive.
